Where to Find Wedding Ceremony Music Samples

Music is an important part of your big day. Part of planning your wedding is choosing the music that will be played before, during and after the ceremony. Wedding ceremony music samples are the perfect way to browse through various pieces of music to choose what you like the best. Before the Internet, you had to listen to music on record, tape or CD. Today, you can browse through all kinds of music samples right on your computer. This makes it very easy and convenient, much more so than it would be to play many different CDs.

All you need to listen to music on your computer is Internet access and a media player. If you can use a search engine, you can find lots of free samples to listen to. There are also many different media sharing sites where you can listen to partial songs without having to pay for them. Napster is a prime example of such a site. While some media sharing sites are full of viruses, Napster is safe to use because you will ultimately pay for the music you download. However, listening to samples of music is free. You can choose what you want to play for 30 seconds, which is often enough time to decide if you like it or not.

You will need various pieces of music to take you through the ceremony from start to finish. The prelude is played when the guests start arriving and is most always a nice classical piece. The processional is the time when the bridal party enters, just before the bride takes her walk down the aisle. Of course the most traditional and beloved song for the bridal march is Here Comes the Bride. After that, there may be music played when the bride and groom exchange vows. And, there is music played as the bride and groom exit the church. As you can see, music plays a big part in your wedding day and should be chosen with care.

When you listen to wedding ceremony music samples, have a notepad with you to mark down your favorites. The Internet makes it easy to browse many different pieces of music and put together various programs to consider. You may want to jot down three different choices when it comes to your music program and choose between them after consulting with friends, family or your wedding planner. If you are using a wedding planner, they might actually get the samples for you so that you don't have to make the effort.
